My name is Sherri-Lee Scholtz. I am from Durban South Africa. Three months ago I left South Africa to live in Wellington with my Dad, Sister, Brother and his girlfriend. I bought with me my four and a half year old daughter.
I have always wanted to be a Beauty Therapist and so while living in South Africa and knowing I wanted to study in New Zealand I did some research with the help of my Sister and Father. My sister had a friend who studied at the Wellington Campus of Elite International last year and she couldn't speak highly enough of the College. I then did my own investigating of Elite International School of Beauty and also the staff there couldn't have been more helpful and went out of their way to make my study in Wellington happen! I am having an awesome time here at the Elite International School of Beauty Wellington. The Tutors, staff members and fellow students are all so supportive and friendly. It is like a “family” away from home.

I love living in New Zealand and although I have only been here three months I feel completely safe and the comradeship of being with the School has made my time here so much easier. Wellington is so different than Durban. There are Endless opportunities to stay here despite the weather! But you can't beat Wellington on a good day!
The study here is great and I am learning so much. There is so much to learn and you receive a lot of help and mentoring from the Tutors and the staff. I would like to thank Elite International School of Beauty for accepting my application and making this all work out for me. I can't wait be qualified!

Read more...I really like New Zealand. It’s the most beautiful place that I have ever seen before. And people here are very kind for international students so it’s very easy to settling into NZ life style and being part of it.
Now I am doing a good work with other students in Elite School but also I am doing modelling in Auckland. So I really enjoy my life at the moment and thinking about to work in beauty industry in the future.

My name is Apiwan Sununtasin and I have come from Chian Mai in Thailand. I lived in New Zealand two years ago and studied Hairdressing and English in Lower Hutt. I then went back home to visit my mother for 6 months. While I was back home visiting I thought about studying Beauty Therapy and looked in to coming back to Wellington to study. I then contacted some of my friends back in Wellington and asked what they thought would be the best course for Beauty Therapy. Read more...My experience at Elite International in Wellington so far has been a wonderful and interesting experience. I have been attending the school since July 2010 and already I am studying hard and learning so much more than I ever anticipated. The Tutors are very helpful and encourage you to study hard. When I first started studying at Elite in Wellington I worried if I had done the right thing. So much to learn because the language barrier for myself can be difficult, however again all the Staff have made me feel very welcome and the Tutors are always looking out for me in class to see if I am taking all the information in.
I enjoy living in New Zealand especially Wellington. I live right in the city. The Landscape is so beautiful and I like that it is not polluted here. The People here are so nice and friendly. I feel very safe and secure here.Settling back into New Zealand has been a bit difficult this time. I have found the language barrier difficult because I had gone home to visit for six months and didn’t speak or read any English but I know in time the more I read and speak and communicate with English speaking people it will improve a lot.
I am really looking forward to becoming a Fully Qualified Beauty Therapist and I would like to “thank” Elite International for making me feel so welcome.

I am originally from South Africa, and came to New Zealand to study Hotel Management at the Pacific international Hotel School in New Plymouth in 2005. I have worked in the UK, and New Zealand as part of my practical training, and graduated with a Hotel Management Diploma in 2007.
Thereafter, I started work in Wellington at the Bee Hive complex for Epicure Catering, and acquired the position of Functions Coordinator prior to my decision to resume studies in the field of Beauty Therapy.
I am currently studying Beauty and Spa Therapy Premium. Elite was a natural choice for me, offering International qualification, and a North Shore location.

I have found New Zealanders to be very sociable, and accommodating, and there is generally a good work ethic. I found adjusting to the New Zealand way of life quite easy, and I feel very much at home here.

Hello, my name is Nisa. I am from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Initially, I came to New Zealand to pursue my degree in Finance to complement my diploma in Investment Analysis. However, I realized that I needed to do something different. I attended classes at university, but my heart was just not there.
I stumbled upon Elite International by accident. I thought it would be interesting to do Diploma in Beauty Therapy, so I made a call and here I am thanks to the campus manager who was very helpful. There is so much learning going on. The workload is surprisingly challenging, but I am getting on just fine with all the tutors being vey supportive and friendly. I couldn't thank them enough.
Read more...I always thought that this industry is intimidating, and that you'll only find gorgeous people studying and working as beauty therapists. I was proven wrong. Beauty can be nurtured and this is exactly what they did. It is wonderful making people feel good about themselves and that is why I love doing this course. Can't wait to be a qualified therapist!
New Zealand is a wonderful place to live in. I adjust easily and the locals are simply kind and hospitable.
